Can-Can Twists

Snack:
you need-
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon dried parsley parsley flakes
1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1 can buttermilk biscuits

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Microwave the butter in a small bowl at medium power until just melted; cool slightly. Stir in the cheese, parsley and basil. Set aside. Pat each biscuit biscuit into 5x2-inch rectangle. Spread 1 teaspoon of butter mixture on each rectangle; cut each in half lengthwise. Twist each strip 3 or 4 times. Place the twists on a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake them for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.

The first can foods appeared in 1811, but the can opener wasn't invented until 1855.
